Former PM Hun Sen Participate in Pchum Ben Ceremony at Wat Veang Chas

Kampong Speu: Former Prime Minister of Cambodia Hun Sen and his wife along with family, relatives and officials, attended the Pchum Ben ceremony on  Saturday morning October 14, 2023, at Wat Harirak Reachini called Wat Veang Chas, located in Veang Chas Commune, Oudong District, Kampong Speu Province.

Former PM and his wife always attend the Pchum Ben festival called Chlang Ben Day, bringing offerings with candles, incense and flowers to worship the Buddha and Preah Ratanatray.

Not just the Former PM Hun Sen and his wife Bun Rany Hun Sen, but we see the Prime minister Hun Manet and first lady and all the family member attend in this ceremony as well, bringing food, cakes, food and drinks to the monks. 

The gifts brought to the monks at Wat Veang Chas today include: 20 cases of orange juice, 30 cases of pure water, 5 cases of soy sauce, 5 cases of mineral  water, 5 cases of seaweed juice, water 2 cases of condensed milk, 20 kg of sugar, 3 cases of cocoa, 5 cases of canned lentils, 5 kg of tea, 5 cases of fish, 3 large boxes of noodles, 500 kg of rice, dried fish 10 kg, 10 kg of sausage, 2 baskets of Chinese cake, 8 baskets of fruit, 30 packs of gifts including 100,000 Riels, 1 package of gifts including 2 million Riels, donated Ten million riels.
